Cissexist bigot calls for a boycott of Girl Scout cookies, since the Girl Scouts include *all* girls, whether cisgender or not. I say, we have a Girl Scout buy-out instead, where we buy ALL the cookies to show our support for Girl Scouts of the USA's inclusiveness.
FORMER GIRL SCOUTS: anyone remember that camp song called “God Bless My Underwear?” You know the one you sing when you pin your undies to the flagpole on the last day of camp? We should do a spoof for this Cadette in California. And have it go “Gooood bless myyyy underwear/and whatever it is down thereeee/’cause IIIIII doooon’t caaaaare!”
If this Girl Scout wanted to be in a non-inclusive organization then she should join the Boy Scouts. Oh wait, she can’t because she’s a girl. I believe ANYONE can always join the Girl Scouts.
As a former Girl Scout, I am constantly proud of them. And because I am earning my honorary fat girl badge, I have already contacted the Girl Scouts about cookies because they have eluded me for the past couple of years. In the NYC area, they will begin to open “pop-up shops” the week of March 12.
