Remember that time
when I told my mother she had to stop drinking if she wanted to have a relationship with me?
Yeah, she emailed me a response telling me I had to forget about all the bad things that went down (and are still going down) because it is “poisoning” our relationship. So not the actual poison that you are taking.
So my condition of having a relationship with my parents is that we all start telling the truth, but they would rather we lie. Right.
